Limerick man pleads guilty to child pornography charge

A 49-year-old Limerick man has admitted to possessing child pornography on his home computer.

David Alan Panetta, of the 300 block of Laurel Drive, pleaded guilty in Montgomery County Court on Thursday to two felony counts of possession of child pornography in connection with incidents that occurred between October and December of 2007.

Gilbertsville man jailed for child porn at work

A Gilbertsville area man is headed to jail for possessing child pornography on a computer that was owned by the company for which he worked.

Scott Edward Rozick, 47, of the 1000 block of Grosser Road, Douglass (Mont.), was sentenced in Montgomery County Court to five- to 23-months in the county jail after he pleaded guilty to felony charges of sexual abuse of children, possessing and disseminating child pornography, in connection with incidents that occurred between 2007 and 2008.

Beagle starvers get probation

An East Pikeland couple will be forbidden from owning pets or keeping them on their property for one year as part of their sentence for animal cruelty handed down Tuesday in Common Pleas Court.

George and Leann Lacy entered guilty pleas to misdemeanor and summary charges of cruelty to animals in exchange for a year of probation as part of an agreement with the prosecution. They had been charged after an animal cruelty officer found a dead beagle lying in the front yard of their home in December. The dog had starved to death.
